Extra! Extra! Read All About It!!

In September, Joey got the honor of participating in a wonderful organization called the Littlest Heroes Project. I did a post about it on September 22. If you would like to read this post or see Joey on their website and find out more about the Littlest Heroes Project, click here. Last week the photographer, Angie Feehan of New World Designs here in Columbus, got our local paper to do a story about her contributions to the project. Currently, she has done only two projects but hopes to reach more families so they can share their stories about their children struggling with a physical or mental disability or illness. A little girl named Charli, who battled a rare form of childhood cancer called neuroblastoma, and Joey are the two little hero stories Angie has worked on. Last Friday evening, we all met with a reporter from our local newspaper for interviews and pictures. It went really well and gave Joey and Charli a chance to meet for the first time. So today, I had to let everyone know that the story of Joey, Charli, Angie and how they all came to know each other is featured on the front page of the Columbus Telegram. I am so excited! This is a great opportunity for Angie to let people know about the Littlest Heroes Project, for Charli's family to help raise awareness about childhood cancer, and for us to be able to spread awareness about Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. Everybody wins! To read this fantastic story and see the photographs
